Responsibilities:
- Delivering Maths or English Foundation/GCSE.
- Working within our Values-based Education ethos.
- Working in conjunction with our Values-based curriculum.
- Undertaking Values-based discussions and recordings with young people and those who know them well.
- To contribute to the development of the service.
Person Specification
- Has a strong value base.
- Is able to positively engage with young people.
- Has a resilience to behaviours presented by young people, and able to adapt.
- Has the ability to work in isolation as well as being an active member of a team.
- Has a willingness and ability to represent the views of the Young Person being supported.
Essential Skills
- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car - this work is mobile and involves some travel around the city.
- Must have some experience delivering GCSE English or Maths (whether as a teacher, TA or similar role).
- Competent with the use of IT.
- Competent at report writing.
- Hold GCSE or higher in English and Maths.
- Hold a higher qualification relevant to our work.
- Are able to competently represent the Organisation within meetings.
- To represent the views of the Young Person being supported.
- To work on behalf of the Directors/Senior Managers.
