Support’ed are looking to develop our existing group of professionals who are able to meet the needs of the young people we work with. We provide bespoke work with young people to provide the best possible outcome for them.

As an Alternative Education provision our focus is working directly with the young person to either transition them back into their named education setting, identify and support them into a new education provision and or into Post 16 provision / work. We are an Alternative Education Provision which are based in Exeter and Plymouth where we either work remotely or with our respective bases depending on the needs of the Young person(s).

Our focus is building resilience, developing their inner values and working with them to understand self, this we achieve by carefully matching the needs of the young person with the perspective professional(s) to obtain the best possible outcome.

Relevant work experience / qualifications relating to working with young people who have ACE’s.

We are looking for Professionals from a formal education and or community-based setting, who have experience within the Children and Youth sector. You must have the ability to work independently and as a team using your knowledge and expertise in building effective relationships and meeting the needs of the young people who have barriers to learning.

You will work as a team to utilise your professional skill set to support the young people through their journey with us, by working directly with young people, families and external agencies.

We create a bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of each young person, utilising Functional Skills, AQA awards, PHSE and project-based learning.

This is a diverse and rewarding role with opportunities to develop your own CPD and engage in training relevant to your role and to the young person(s).

You will be offered the opportunity to create your own role within the Company utilising your skill sets and passions.

Candidates should have significant experience with working with young people who have ACE’s and barriers to accessing their community and Formal Education Settings. They should

have a clear understanding of Safeguarding and Wellbeing support, experience and knowledge about proactively and reactively meeting the needs of young people. They should be dynamic, resilient and creative.

This post would suit a qualified teacher, HLTA, or experienced in working with young people who have a history of dysregulation and non-engagement.

We recognise that a holistic approach around the young people is key to their success, this includes directly working with families, schools and other relevant external agencies in a Flexible and innovative service provision.
